Getting Started

Women's Studies is a relatively broad and interconnected discipline.

Other areas of the humanities and social sciences are intertwined with Women's Studies, as well as with the broader area of Gender Studies. While many institutions provide degrees in Women's Studies, most provide courses within other academic programs.
